Free Alvaro Alvaro Hernandez Luna was sentenced in Odessa, Texas on June 2-9, 1997 to 50 years in prison for defending himself by disarming a police officer drawing a weapon on him (unarmed).  The trial evidence clearly showed Alvaro was the victim of "witch hunts" and a police-orchestrated conspiracy to frame or eliminate him.

Cultura & History:

Aztlanahuac Ancient Mesoamerica in North America Exhibit, research, ancient maps, and documentary

Jose Guadalupe Posada When José Guadalupe Posada died in 1913 there were no mourners; he was eventually interred in a common grave. Throughout his career in Mexico City, he worked in seeming obscurity, producing vivid illustrations for penny sheets that sold on street corners and outdoor markets. The urban lower classes that bought his works had little idea who he was. He left behind neither descendants nor writings, yet today his fame is international. Mexicans regard him among their greatest artists, and his reputation is nearly as great in the United States.

Tiburcio Vasquez I guess it is true when they say the winners of war rewrite history to benefit themselves.  The Southern California so-called "Historical Society" calls  Turbucio Vasquez a Bandit when we call him a liberator. For complaints call 323 222-0546 tell them what is on your mind after reading this bias report.  When Jessie James and Billy the Kid killed more men then  Vasquez why are they western heros, outlaws and legends and Vasquez is a Bandit or stereotype "Bandido"?

Teopiltzin  The Teopiltzin Nahuatl website provides an online Nahuatl dictionary, nahuatl culture, poetry, stories, and other resources on learning the Nahuatl language of Mexico.

Frida Khalo  Find out what's all the hype is all about.  Here is the official Frida  Web site

Che Guevara  Here's Che's website .  One man (person) can make a difference in this world of corporate greed where money and natural resource is more valuable then human lives (especially people of color).  In the spirit of internationalism Che vive en nosotros. Hasta La Victoria siempre.

Victor Jara  This musician's life and music are testimony to the POWER of song and art

Zoot Suit "Riots"  Information and documentary on the Zoot Suit Riots, an important part of US History. So called mainstream America has never fully accepted Raza as "Americans" even during war time. They never gave our community a public apology and or monument to remember this horrific moment in time for our gente and how we have the strength to continue to survive.
